a. Purpose and legal basis of data processing

We process your data so that you can use our website without disruptions, to process your inquiries and any sales contracts concluded with you. The legal basis for data processing is Article 6 paragraph. 1 of the General Data Protection Regulation.

b. Deletion or blocking of data in the event of loss of purpose

  • Logon time and selected subpages

These data are collected exclusively for technical reasons and stored for the period of your visit to our website. They do not allow us to draw any conclusions about your person. However, your provider could identify your Internet connection using the IP address stored by us.

We only store your data during your visit to our website. We shall automatically delete them as soon as your browser closes our website.

c. Statistical analysis

For statistical evaluation, we process your traffic data using analysis programmes, which we explain to you in more detail below.

We shall delete the data when the request has been resolved.

7. Newsletter registration and cancellation

If you would like to receive our newsletter, we require a valid e-mail address as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the specified e-mail address and that you agree to receive this newsletter. 12. Use of analysis functions of the provider Google, transfer of data to the USA

a. Use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, which are text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of how you use the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the US and stored there. However, because IP anonymisation is activated on this website, Google will store your IP address in shortened form if you are accessing this site from within the European Union or the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and truncated there.
Google will use this information on our behalf for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, for compiling reports on website activity, and for providing us with other services relating to website activity and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not combined with other Google data.

b. Use of Google AdWords Conversion Tracking

We participate in the Google AdWords online advertising programme and its Conversion Tracking feature. When you click an ad delivered by Google, a cookie for conversion tracking is stored on your computer. These cookies expire in 30 days and do not contain personal data and therefore cannot be used for personal identification.
If you visit certain pages within our website and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can recognise that you have clicked the advert and have been directed to that page. Each Google AdWords advertiser has a different cookie. Therefore it is not possible to track cookies through our website.
The information collected using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for us. We thereby find out the total number of users who have clicked on our advert and were directed to a page using the conversion tracking tag. However, advertisers do not obtain any information that can be used to personally identify users.
If you do not want to participate in tracking, you can block the installation of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser (disable option). In doing so, you will not be included in the conversion tracking statistics. Further information and the Google data protection declaration can be found below: http://www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads/, http://www.google.de/policies/privacy/

c. Use of Google Shopping, Google Search Console, Google My Business and Google Tag Manager

We use the other Google services mentioned above. It can be assumed that these services will also evaluate your IP address in the USA.

Use of Google Web Fonts

This website uses web fonts from Google Inc. These are fonts provided by Google online. This service also collects your IP address. It can be assumed that Google forwards your IP address to servers in the USA and evaluates it there.

e. Prevention of data collection by Google

You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser. However please note that if you do so you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website (see also the explanations on cookies in Clause 5 above).
You can also prevent the data generated by cookies regarding your website use (incl. your IP address) from being passed on to Google, and the processing of these data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.
In addition or as an alternative to the browser add-on, you can prevent tracking by Google Analytics on our pages by clicking this Link. This will save an opt-out cookie onto your device. This will prevent Google Analytics from collecting data for this website and for this browser in the future.
Please note: You may not delete the opt-out cookie unless you want Google Analytics to track it. If you have deleted all cookies in your browser, you must reset the respective opt-out cookie.

13. Use of YouTube, transfer of data to the USA

Our website uses the YouTube website. The operator of these pages is YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you use our site with a YouTube video, a connection to YouTube's servers is established. Here the YouTube server is informed about which of our pages you have visited.
If you are logged in to your YouTube account, YouTube allows you to associate your browsing behaviour directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.
You can find further information on the use of user data in the YouTube privacy policy on: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy

14. Use of Bing Ads, transfer of data to the USA

We use the online advertising programme "Bing Ads" from Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA. When you click on an ad displayed on Bing, a cookie is stored on your computer which does not contain any personal data and is not used for personal identification. However, the cookie is used to assign your IP address to servers in the USA.

15. E-mail traffic via MailChimp, data transfer to the USA

We use the programme MailChimp to handle e-mail traffic. The provider is as follows: The Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce de Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308 USA, which handles e-mail traffic via servers in the USA.

16. Facebook plugin

We use a Facebook "plugin" (Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave., Palo Alto, CA 94304 USA). Personal data are transmitted to Facebook via the plugin and used. We use a 2-click solution to prevent the unintentional and unwanted collection and transmission of your data to these service providers. This means that the plugin is not activated until you click on it. This opens the capture and transmission of data to Facebook. We do not collect any personal data via the plugin.
Please note: The type and scope of data usage opened via the plugin is determined solely by Facebook. We have no influence on which data an activated plugin collects and how Facebook uses it. Please refer to Facebook's privacy policy for further information.
It is to be assumed that at least your IP address and device-related information is recorded and used. The installation of cookies on your computer is also technically possible. If you are logged into Facebook while using our website on the same computer, Facebook can identify you as a visitor to our website.
